BALOO Training Opportunity!!!

For us to be able to camp, we need BALOO-trained leaders!
(Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation)
This training is not done often, but it is one of the few training classes actually done in Flagler County!
It's a one-day "class" at Princess Place Preserve on September 26th. Check the link for more information, as well as how to get trained at a reduced cost.
The last day to register is September 22nd!!!

WEBELOS leaders!!!

((or those who may become WEBELOS leaders in the near future))
Outdoor Leader Skills for Webelos Leaders, a REALLY good class is held HERE IN FLAGLER COUNTY!!!
It's a weekend campout...WITHOUT KIDS!!!
I've included a link to the Three Rivers District training calendar, just look down at OLSWL. You'll notice, this training is only done once a year in our area.
I've also included the flyer for the event itself, including link to register online!

Youth Protection is not just for leaders!

The Boy Scouts of America has spent years making sure young boys are led by trained volunteers. A vital part of that training is the Youth Protection Course. I've added a link to the Youth Protection area of the BSA's website. This is the first step for anyone who wants to be a leader or just volunteer with Pack 281. It's also a good course for all parents or guardians to watch.
